Once you arrive at Enigma, enter through the front door & we are located in the treatment rooms upstairs. The Enigma staff are always happy to direct you if needed.

Where can I park?

You can park behind Tesco Express in the car park for free. Ensure you allow extra time to park as it can get very busy. The car park is approximately a 1 minute walk to the clinic. Do not park at the front of Tesco as this is for 30 minutes max stay only.

Question 3

What do I need to wear or bring to my appointment?

-Bring a bottle of water to keep hydrated
-Wear comfortable and loose fitted clothing
-Wear your hair up so it's out the way or bring a hair tie with you
-Wear or bring shorts with you for lower body treatments

What side effects may I experience after my treatment?

You may feel:
-Sleepy & fatigued
-Hot & Increased sweating
-Cold like symptoms such as stuffy, blocked or runny nose
-Soreness & tenderness on areas treated 
-Headaches & Dizziness

How frequently should I have a Sports Massage?

At the beginning, you may need more frequent sessions such as weekly or biweekly depending on the individual.

Once we are happy with the progress we can then introduce a maintenance plan which consists of a treatment every 4-6 weeks.

Do you have a cancellation policy?

Accepted Answer

We operate a 48-hour cancellation policy.

Cancellations made more than 48 hours (over 2 days prior to your appointment) will not incur any charges.
Cancellations made within 48 hours (within 2 days to your appointment) will result in a cancellation fee of 50% of the appointment.
Cancellations made within 24 hours (1 day before or same day) / No shows will be charged the full 100% of the appointment.

You will be required to pay a 50% deposit when booking your appointment which is non-refundable if you cancel/reschedule within 48 hours of your appointment or do not show up, unfortunately including any illness.

Do I need to play sport to have a Sports Massage?

Absolutely not!

We all have aches, pains and tension within our muscles or joints from physical activity, activities of daily living or bad posture from our occupation.

Whatever your occupation, level of fitness or lifestyle, you will benefit from a Sports Massage.

Question 9

What should I do after my treatment?

Accepted Answer

-Drink plenty of fluids
-Avoid drinking too much caffeine and alcohol
-Avoid strenuous physical activity for 24 hours
-Complete prescribed exercises
-Be patient with recovery. This may take 24-48 hours after treatment. 
-Book a maintenance session for 4-6 weeks
